Fair Labour & The Environment

Our blank clothing provider is affliliated with the Fair Labor Association meaning all our premium hoodies are made with FLA compliant materials. Additionally these materials support the Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety and received praise from the  Worker Rights Consortium for negotiations with Honduran labor unions in 2016.

The manufacturing plant producing the blank hoodies has a Gold Certificate of Compliance, contributing to sustainable manufacturing and the protection of natural resources. The plant utilises underground pipes, heat-exchange systems and its own water-treatment facility to keep energy use and waste low – up to 65% of its water is recycled and returned to the river, even cleaner than it was before, helping the community of a water scarce area.

Our embroidered patches are custom made by use on an old-fashioned embroidery machine! Check out our instagram to see how it works. It was important for us to do this ourselves, to ensure the quality of our designs are untouched and to reduce the amount of traveling our products do, burning less of our precious fossil fuels and releasing fewer greenhouse gases.

The water-based ink used on our sleeves is printed locally, by hand in Leeds after being personally delivered on-foot further reducing the distance our hoodies have to travel before reaching you.

Charity

Borneo Orangutan Survival (BOS) is the largest orangutan conservation organization in the world. Bornean orangutans are critically endangered but by supporting BOS we are aiding orangutan rescue, rehabilitation and release programs whilst helping protect their diminishing habitat.

By working with indigenous communities, BOS is able to support orangutans injured or orphaned by deforestation and restore the last remaining wild bornean orangutan habitats. So far this year 15 orangutans were rescued, 3 were released to sanctuary islands, 26 were released to pre-release islands and 25 were released to protected forests.
